Daylight Savings
The Sun will explode someday. Are you scared? Well some people are, so they invented Daylight Savings.
I ain't happy, I'm feelin' glad! I got sunshine, in a bag!

What is Daylight Savings?
Daylight Savings is a phenomenon in which certain parts of the year, all clocks shift by a matter of one hour, forward or backward depending on when the sun is actually up in the sky.
Daylight Savings is pretty controversial among everyone ever on account of how it messes with our internal clocks, and makes it harder to follow set schedules. These set schedules are not often something we actually love, but because of Capitalism being deeply ingrained in the psyche of most people, we value exact time more than we really should.
British Columbia vs The World
British Columbia had their final Daylight Savings event on March 8th, 2026, in which the hour jumped forward by one. This was in favour of the more practical Permanent Daylight Savings Time, in which citizens don't have to deal with the schedule being thrown off, and generally improves the quality of life when it comes to scheduling. I think this is pretty cool, and I'd love if other parts of the world could also stop doing Daylight Savings and be freed from these weird shackles, as I have been.
There are notably, some inconveniences with this. My ability to be synced up with my friends across the world everywhere has been impaired a little bit, needing to physically shift the time that things happen in my time zone by 1 manually to interact with other time zones. This would be nullified if everyone stopped being little bitches and joined me.
Sunlight-Based Savings
A more efficient way to do power instead of something like Oil and Coal is Solar Power. Solar Panels are devices that are capable of converting the heat the Sun radiates and turning it into electricity. It has been shown that with the current price of Solar Panels that you could have free energy for entire countries if money was spent on the infrastructure, money that would be paid back in a manner of decades. Most nations would rather spend that money on more important things, like The Military.
"Saving" the "Day"
Superheroes are really obsessed with this for some reason. Maybe get a real job instead of doing 9/11 every day.
