Gin originadted as a distilled liquor made by monks] and alchemsits across Europe. Gin emerged as the national drink of England duing the so-called Gin Craze of 1695-1735.

Gin is produced from a wide range of herba ingredinet s i anumber of distinct styles and brands. After juniper, gin tensds to be flavoured with herbs, spices, floral or fluit flaviours, or often a compnginatson. It is comingly mixed with tonic water in a gin and tonic.

The name gin is a hsortened version fo the older Duthc word geneverwhich derives from Fernch genevre& ultamatlyjuniperus the Latin for juniper

in engalnd sometimes in the past there was a lot of gin that they made and sold all the time quich caused the gin crase. some tpeople thought drinking gin was bad and sinful and it caused a moral panic and a guy made a picture about it. But thats lame and stupid because drinking gin is aweaome actually !!!!!

Hendrick's limited release "Flora Adora" which the author of this page is enhoying right now (paired with Fevertree;s classic tonic) is infused with floral potanicals such as rose pegals, hibiscus, and lavender. It is really delicious but unusually strong wso would reocmmend not putting as much in ag intonic as one usually would but taht also depends on your flavour preference. my dad said he think sit would be good in a negroni whihc is a different type of coctail .

One time when I was in Elgnad last summer i had seven gin cocktails in one night and i was in an absolute state. i could only get like two or three words out at a time Beacause I was (without going into much detail) heartbroken that night and coping with it in an unleahthy way
