RSS is like Twitter if it was epic.
List of Good RSS Readers
- For iOS: Reeder (costs money) or NetNewsWire (does not)
- For macOS: also Reeder or NetNewsWire
- Android: none, sorry
- Windows: see above
- Linux: Newsflash could be worse. It could be Akregator, for example.
Atom
Atom is a newer standard that does the same thing as RSS. It became a thing because RSS kind of sucks.
Usually when people say "RSS" they mean RSS or Atom. The distinction isn't particularly important unless you're writing an RSS reader, in which case it's really fucking annoying.
