== Premise ==
Severance takes place in a fictional society where a medical procedure allows people to voluntarily [[Half|split themselves]] into two headmates one of which only fronts at work and the other which only fronts outside of work. This is something that I <sub>(a dutiful employee with no headmates to speak of)</sub> would not know anything about.
